This week’s episode of WWE NXT provides the fallout from the Halloween Havoc special, which took place over two weeks. This episode of NXT will also effectively serve as the start of the road to NXT Deadline, which is set to take place on December 9. Here is all you need to know ahead of the November 7 edition of NXT.

WWE NXT Full Match Card:

  • Noam Dar (c) vs. Akira Tozawa – NXT Heritage Cup Match
  • Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Henley – Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match
  • Tyler Bate vs. Dijak – Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match
  • Bron Breakker vs. Von Wagner – Singles Match

Lyra Valkyria Makes First Appearance As NXT Women’s Champion

Lyra Valkyria won the NXT Women’s Championship on the October 24 edition and two weeks later, she makes her first appearance with the gold. Night one of Halloween Havoc provided Valkyria with the biggest match opportunity of her career as she went up against Becky Lynch. On November 7, Valkyria will celebrate two weeks with the gold while also getting to address the NXT fans.

The NXT women’s division is at its most interesting stage right now, with several superstars shining in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. The tournament winner, Lola Vice, will soon come knocking on Valkyria’s door, looking to make the most of her own opportunity. Jade Cargill remains WWE’s hottest signing and, still unassigned to a brand, she could also make a move for the NXT Women’s Championship. One thing is for certain: Valkyria’s era has begun.

Noam Dar Defends the NXT Heritage Cup Against Akira Tozawa

Noam Dar finally grants Akira Tozawa a shot at the NXT Heritage Cup on the November 7 NXT. Tozawa first stole the cup on night one of Halloween Havoc before Dar, and the rest of Meta-Four found him on night two of the special. Dar last defended the NXT Heritage Cup at No Mercy in late September and, after a month of inactivity, gets right back to defending the gold. Tozawa is determined to walk away with the gold and break Dar’s heart once more.

Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Matches Begin

The road to NXT Deadline begins on the November 7 NXT. As part of that event, the Iron Survivor Challenge matches will also make a return. For the 2022 Deadline PLE, Roxanne Perez won the women’s tournament while Grayson Waller won the men’s. The 2023 event’s qualifying matches start off this week. Tyler Bate and Dijak clash for a chance in the men’s tournament while Fallon Henley and Tiffany Stratton meet to determine who will be a part of the women’s side.
